DIY Peace Sign Wreath

My Crafting has spread to other members of the Family.... that is the only credit I can take from this Great DIY Project. During Christmas my Sister-in-Law Christina made me this beautiful wreath & here is how she did it!

What you Need:
Styrofoam Ring/Thick Piece, Felt, Glitter,
Hot Glue, & Yarn
1st Steps:  Find a Leaf Template online, Trace on Felt,
 & Cut out
Paint Design on Leafs & Let Dry over Night
2nd Steps: Using a Large Styrofoam Ring &
a Thick flat piece of Foam
Put the flat piece behind the ring, then measure &  trace out the inside of the Peace Sign. You should be able to fit one piece in the other after you've traced everything.(The inside is one solid piece ) Once you fit the piece in the inside of the ring, use wooden skewers to secure everything. I used 2 per straight piece of the peace sign.  Using Yarn wrap from the outside inward. The tighter you wrap the better it looks.

Hot Glue Leaves & Done!

Great Job Chris, I hope to post more from you  in the future.

Circus

One of the great things about having kids, is when you get to witness their 1st time experiences something. Their smiling faces, big bright eyes, & overall joy makes it all worth it....even when you have to spend $12 on Cotton Candy.

Lola was so Brave & not Scared of the Clowns
(can't say the same for Lily)

DIY Yarn Wine Bottles

Step 1: Drink a lot of Wine......j/k I would never wrap bottles under the influence. The outcome would be horrendous.

What you Need:
Wine Bottle, Yarn, Glue, & Paint Brush

I like to mix my Glue w/ water
(Makes it less Sticky)

Real Step 1: Tie a Knot below the Lip
of the Bottle
Step 2: Paint bottle w/ Glue
(I go down about 2 in. at a Time)

Step 3: Wrap the Bottle
*Important- There is no "right way" to wrap the Bottle. What works best for me is wrapping the yarn tight. Making sure to take your time & that no bottle is showing through with each wrap. A large bottle should take you about 20-30 minutes to wrap.
Step 4:  Secure the end w/ extra Glue & Done!

Happy Monday,
